Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Charlestown, MA is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts with rotating weekend shifts; typical hours 7am-5pm, 9am-7pm, or 1pm-11pm.

Pay: $20.50 - $30.00 per hour, dependent on experience and advancement through competency assessment. We offer shift differentials for eligible night and weekend hours, plus a comprehensive benefits package and continuing education opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients with warmth and professionalism at the entry.
• Speak clearly and calmly on the phone and in person to explain procedures.
• Assess client needs and determine urgency of cases, directing to the appropriate team member.
• Schedule appointments and confirm details with clients.
• Provide emotional support and resources to grieving clients as needed.
• Serve as liaison between clients and service teams during care of pets.
