Job summary

Mt. Pleasant House is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team and support residents with activities of daily living in a safe, nurturing environment.

The role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and teamwork, with responsibilities including assisting with ADLs, monitoring health, promoting resident engagement, and ensuring safety and compliance. CPR and background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent.
• Completion of a state‑approved PCA/CNA or caregiver training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration.
• Help residents maintain personal hygiene and comfort.
• Observe and report health changes to nursing staff; assist with medication reminders.
