Mitchell House is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities, promote independence, and provide compassionate care in a safe environment. The PCA will assist with ADLs, monitor health, and engage residents in meaningful activities.

The role emphasizes empathy, attention to detail, and teamwork with nursing staff, ensuring residents' dignity and comfort while maintaining safety protocols and compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or GED preferred; PCA/CNA training preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Monitor residents' health and report changes to nursing staff; remind about medications.
• Foster resident engagement through companionship and participation in activities.
• Follow safety and infection-control protocols and respond to emergencies.
