Job summary

Rose Tara Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities and promote a safe, nurturing environment. The role emphasizes empathy, attention to detail, and respect for residents’ dignity and independence.

The PCA will assist with ADLs, monitor health, encourage engagement in activities, and follow safety protocols to ensure well-being and comfort for residents in our community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; PCA/CNA training is advantageous.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal care, senior living, or healthcare preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Support meals, hydration, and feeding assistance.
• Observe health changes and report to nursing team; assist with medication reminders.
• Foster companionship and engagement in activities; promote safety and infection control.
