Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Part-timeResident Assistant/Personal Care Aide in State College, PA. You will assist residents with daily living activities and help maintain a clean, safe living environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, completion of an approved PCA program, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to certify within 60 days. Lifting requirements apply; weekend/holiday availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved Personal Care Aide program per state regulations.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to obtain certification within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Good communication with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergency alerts.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Provide emotional support during move-in transitions.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Communicate resident status, appointments, admissions, and transfers in writing.
