Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities in our community. You will respond to calls, support meals and activities, maintain confidentiality, assist move-in transitions, and cooperate with nursing staff while following policies.

A high school diploma or GED and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to become certified within 60 days) are required; weekends

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Assist in planning activity programs and move-in transitions.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and communicate status to appropriate staff.
