Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide quality care for residents in Hershey, PA. You will assist with daily living activities, respond to emergencies, and support activity programming while maintaining confidentiality and following policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of an approved PCA program, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed approved Personal Care Aide program per state regulations.
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be a contributing member of nursing team and follow supervisor instructions.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Perform housekeeping tasks as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Plan and conduct activity programs for residents.
• Assist residents with meals and transfers.
• Support move-in transitions with emotional assistance.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
