Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities for residents. You will work closely with the nursing team, assist with mobility, meals, and daily tasks, and respond to calls and emergencies.

The role requires completing a PCA program, maintaining confidentiality, and demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of an approved Personal Care Aide program as applicable by state regulations.
• Effective verbal and written communication is required.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Perform housekeeping tasks in resident rooms and common areas as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergency alerts.
• Assist residents to dining rooms and activities; monitor attendance and participation.
• Contribute to activity planning and provide emotional support to new move-ins.
