Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is hiring a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide quality care to residents and assist with activities of daily living. You will report incidents, maintain policies, and support residents with daily tasks and mobility.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, completion of an approved PCA program, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Reports incidents involving residents to include care concerns to RN/LPN or ED.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed by supervisor.
• Responds promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assists in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident information.
• Assists residents with move-in transition and provides emotional support.
• Follows instructions from supervisor and works as part of the nursing team.
