Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PCA) to assist in individualized patient care under RN/LPN supervision in our fast-paced Med/Surg unit. You will support meals, hygiene, mobility, and basic clerical tasks, contributing to a collaborative team focused on patient wellness.

No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training, including a 175-hour program and DOL apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA/CPTC certification or enrollment in a healthcare career program preferred.
• Mercy co-worker status is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record and monitor vital signs in the EMR.
• Assist patients with meals, hygiene, mobility, and transport.
• Provide clerical support as needed.
• PCA duties may include basic procedures as directed.
