Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Patient Care Assistant under the direction of the RN or LPN to assist in individualized patient care and support the care team.

No prior experience required; however, a 175-hour training program will be provided during new hire orientation to meet state requirements. BLS is required within one month, with PCA competencies within 3 months of hire. Physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; CNA/CPTC or enrolled in healthcare program.
• No prior experience required.
• BLS within one month of hire; PCA competencies within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in individualized patient care under RN/LPN supervision.
