• Ensures paperwork is complete; verifies patient ID against transport order and medical record number.
• Safely transports patients to and from various hospital areas with appropriate coverage and privacy.
• Coordinates with patient care areas to plan efficient transport across departments.
• Maintains transport equipment inventories and notifies of maintenance issues.
• Participates in department and hospital educational programs to maintain skills and competencies.
