Concord Hospital is seeking a Transporter to provide direct basic patient care and transport for a group of patients from simple to complex under the guidance of the Registered Nurse. You will assess patient mobility, verify correct transport mode, assist patients to/from bed, wheelchair, or stretcher, and handle equipment like oxygen, Foley catheters, and IV pumps while in transit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Provides assistance to nursing and transports patients to designated areas of the hospital.
• Transports medical equipment, medical records, laboratory specimens, patient meal trays and materials to appropriate destinations.
• Responsible for the privacy of patient medical records, stability of specimens and conformance of equipment.
• Serves as the fill in dispatcher and dispatch resources using critical thinking.
