Job summary

Responsibilities

• Transports patients, specimens, equipment and supplies throughout the Medical Center using stretchers, wheelchairs, beds, cardiac chairs and other transport equipment.
• Assists in lifting or placing patients onto and out of transport conveyance, secures patient, and confirms correct patient identity while maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Maintains cleanliness of stretchers and related transport equipment.
• Transports and locates equipment, specimens, and supplies to and from designated areas.
