Job summary

Responsibilities

• Transports patients, specimens, equipment and supplies throughout the Medical Center using stretchers, wheelchairs, beds, and other transport equipment.
• Assists in lifting or placing patients onto and off transport conveyances, secures patient and checks ID band for accuracy while maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Maintains cleanliness of stretchers and transport equipment; transports and locates equipment, specimens, and supplies to designated areas.
