Job summary

GBMC HealthCare in Towson, MD is seeking a transport role to move patients, equipment, and supplies across the Medical Center. You will use wheelchairs, stretchers, beds, and other transport equipment while maintaining patient dignity and safety.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient transfers, ensuring correct patient identification, and keeping transport gear clean. CPR certification within 30 days is required. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients, specimens, equipment and supplies throughout the Medical Center.
• Assists in lifting or placing patients onto and out of the transport conveyance, securing patient and verifying identification.
• Maintains patient dignity and privacy by draping appropriately.
• Keeps stretchers and transport equipment clean.
• Transports and locates equipment, specimens, and supplies to designated areas.
