Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Transporter to move patients, specimens, equipment and supplies across the Baltimore campus under direct supervision. You will assist with patient transfer, maintain dignity, and ensure safe handling of all transport tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• CPR certification (Heart Saver) within 30 days of start date.
• Not Applicable experience as transporter is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients, specimens, equipment and supplies throughout the Medical Center.
• Assist in lifting or placing patients onto transport conveyances and maintain patient dignity.
• Maintain cleanliness of stretchers and transport equipment; locate and move items as directed.
