• Performs safe, timely transport of patients interdepartmentally and on discharge
• Accurately reports any observed patient status changes to RN
• Promptly responds to stat calls and supports clinical staff
• Conducts rounds for delivery and pickup of items like supplies, records, specimens, xrays, orders and equipment
• Transports patient valuables/belongings with patient and ensures they accompany the patient
• Maintains department stretchers and wheelchairs in patient-ready condition
