Job summary

PACS is seeking a caregiver/driver to assist residents with loading and unloading from facility vehicles and to provide safe transportation to appointments and activities. You will maintain vehicle logs, demonstrate safe transfer techniques, and ensure proper securing of residents in vans and wheelchairs.

The role requires CNA training, a valid driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds. You will work in a supportive environment focused on resident safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNA training or certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand job-related instructions and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with loading and unloading from facility vehicles.
• Ensure safe transportation to medical appointments and activities.
• Maintain and review vehicle maintenance logs; coordinate routine service.
• Ensure proper securing of residents in vans and wheelchairs.
• Lift and transfer residents up to 75 pounds as needed while ensuring safety.
