Job summary

PACS is seeking a patient transport assistant to safely move residents to appointments and activities. You will load/unload, monitor vehicle conditions, and maintain clean, safe transport vehicles. A CNA background and CE upkeep are required, along with a valid DL and GPS familiarity. Lifting up to 75 pounds and flexibility in hours are expected.

In this role, you will help ensure comfortable, compliant transport and support a positive community image while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA training and CE maintenance required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Familiarity with GPS and local driving area.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with loading and unloading from facility vehicles.
• Transport residents to medical appointments and activities.
• Maintain interior and exterior of facility vehicles.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance logs and report needs.
• Be flexible with work time and schedules as needed.
• Safely transfer and lift residents up to 75 pounds.
