Qualifications

• Food Handlers card or Serv Safe certificate required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and serve meals for patients, visitors, and retail customers following recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes and kitchen utensils.
• Transport patient meal carts and collect soiled trays from nursing units.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention standards.
• Assist with nourishments, events, and other food service needs as assigned.
• Promote patient satisfaction and minimize food waste.
• Perform routine and deep cleaning of kitchen areas.
