Job summary

The Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a Room Service Ambassador to provide exceptional patient dining service by assisting with meal selections, processing orders, and coordinating timely delivery. You will educate patients on the meal ordering system and ensure diet restrictions are followed, acting as a liaison between patients, nursing units, and Food and Nutrition Services.

Maintain HIPAA and food safety standards while delivering friendly, professional service.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required; training provided.
• Ability to assist patients with meal selections and orders.
• Ability to follow HIPAA and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, diet-compliant meals with friendly service.
• Assist patients and families with meal ordering and using the system.
• Enter meal orders accurately and ensure timely delivery.
• Liaise with nursing units and Food and Nutrition Services to address requests.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and HACCP standards.
