Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring full-time Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) for Vanderbilt Harton Hospital in Tullahoma, TN. You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and support nutrition and patient-safety goals.

The role requires English literacy, basic computer/mathematical skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour with days varying and interview-based details.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders comply with nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, cultural/religious preferences, or additional selections.
• Assemble meals according to patient menus and retrieve trays from rooms on schedule.
• Comply with federal, state, and JCAHO standards; uphold HIPAA policies and procedures.
