Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, or cultural/religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to tray tickets and retrieve trays from patient rooms on schedule.
• Comply with federal, state, and JCAHO standards and HIPAA policies.
