Job summary

Mercy Health in Fairfield, OH is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the Progressive Care Unit. You will assist nurses, monitor vital signs, assist with feeding and hygiene, and keep rooms clean and ready for patient care.

Ideal candidates have completed nursing aide training or STNA/CNA and are capable of communicating clearly with patients and staff. BLS is preferred. 36 hours weekly, days/evenings shift.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care including comfort, vital signs, hygiene, and mobility.
• Acts as liaison between patient and nurse to report changes or concerns.
• Maintains accurate, timely documentation of patient care.
• Performs delegated tasks after competency validation.
• Assists with patient transfers using safe techniques.
