Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing aide training program or CNA certification (must have one)
• Recent acute care or long-term care experience preferred
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred; must obtain prior to direct patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including vital signs, hygiene, feeding and mobility.
• Serve as liaison between patient and nurse.
• Document care accurately in the EHR.
• Assist with patient comfort and safety.
• Participate in hand-offs and reports
