Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the Med Surg Unit at St. Francis Downtown. The role involves basic patient care under RN guidance, including vitals, hygiene, feeding and mobility support.

Candidates should have nursing aide training or equivalent; BLS is preferred. Acute care or long-term care experience is a plus. EPIC EHR training is a listed capability, with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Nursing aide training program completed or equivalent certification.
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred upon hire.
• Recent experience in acute care, physician's office, home health/hospice, or long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including comfort, vital signs, personal care and hygiene, and mobility assistance.
• Act as liaison between patient and nurse to report changes or concerns.
• Provide accurate, timely documentation of patient care.
