Job summary

Physicians Regional Healthcare System is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision. The role focuses on activities of daily living, safety, and effective communication within the care team.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, hygiene, mobility, data collection, and ensuring infection control while supporting performance improvement initiatives. CNA/CPCT preferred and BCLS required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 0–2 years in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a nursing program preferred.
• BCLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• CPCT or CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with delegated basic patient care services and maintain a safe, organized environment.
• Record and report patient data such as vital signs, intake/output, and glucose monitoring to RN/LPN/LVN.
