Job summary

Responsibilities include helping with meals, bathing, mobility, specimen collection, glucose monitoring, and documentation. CNA or CPCT certifications are preferred, with BCLS required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a nursing program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in delivering care and keeping a clean, safe environment.
• Collect vital signs and data such as height, weight, oxygen saturation, intake/output, and calories.
• Support meals, bathing, oral care, grooming, linen changes, and catheter care.
• Assist with patient positioning, ambulation, and mobility aids.
• Collect urine/stool samples and monitor blood glucose; document results.
• Communicate patient information clearly to the care team and report changes.
• Maintain infection control and PPE use, participate in safety protocols.
• Support performance improvement and risk management activities as needed.
• May provide continuous observation as required and perform other duties.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies.
