Job summary

Northwest Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a clean clinical environment under supervision of RN/LPN/LVN.

The PCT will also assist with meals, mobility, hygiene, and basic specimen handling. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in acute care or enrollment in a nursing program, with BCLS required within 90 days and

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Record patient data including vital signs and intake/output and report to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist with meals, bathing, grooming and mobility support.
• Support patient positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Collect samples and monitor blood glucose; document results and notify RN/LPN/LVN.
