Job summary

Lutheran Health Network is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for our Indiana facility. The PCT provides patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision, assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining a safe care environment, and communicating effectively with the care team.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, recording vital signs, supporting meals and mobility, and adhering to infection control and PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred
• Basic knowledge of patient care practices
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and patient comfort.
• Collects and records patient data including vital signs and intake/output.
• Assists with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Maintains infection control and safety protocols including PPE.
