Job summary

Lutheran Health Network seeks a Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff by performing delegated basic patient care services in line with training.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, help with meals and hygiene, and maintain a safe care environment under RN/LPN supervision. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with adherence to infection control policies.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of acute care experience or enrollment in a nursing program.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire is required.
• CPCT or CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with delegated basic patient care and maintain a safe environment.
• Collect and record vital signs and document findings for RN/LPN.
• Support meals, bathing, grooming, and daily living activities.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and use of mobility aids.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.
