Job summary

Qualifications

• Completed first semester in an accredited nursing program.
• Completion of a medical assistant or patient care technician program.
• Certification (CMA/RMA/CNA/EMT) may substitute education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN by providing delegated patient care; document and report changes.
• Maintain safe environment and monitor patient condition during shift.
• Support infection prevention and standard precautions in care.
• Assist with activities of daily living and vital signs.
• Communicate data promptly to care team and participate in care planning.
