Job summary

Stormont Vail Health seeks a Patient Care Technician to join the care delivery team. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to provide delegated patient care and assist with procedures in a clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Must be in an accredited nursing program or have completed a medical assistant/patient care tech program.
• CMA/RMA/CNA/EMT/PCT certifications may substitute for education.
• Experience in an office or clinic setting preferred.
• Strong patient-care skills and safety focus required.
• Ability to communicate patient information promptly to staff.

Responsibilities

• Admit patients to exam rooms for visits and procedures, assist providers.
• Retrieve voicemails, document medical information in EMR.
• Coordinate labs, imaging, and referrals; schedule appointments.
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of information.
• Assist with housekeeping, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Provide safe, respectful, and patient-centered care.
