Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate from an accredited Certified Nursing Program; grandfathered CNA rules apply for hires before 2016.
• 1 year health care experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Fire Life Safety Training within LA City (within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient call within 10 minutes.
• Assist RN with patient care and documentation.
• Support patient hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
• Maintain clean and organized patient rooms and equipment.
• Document vital signs, intake/output, and care provided.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to RN/Charge Nurse.
