Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CNA/MA/EMT or nursing student with one semester of clinical completed.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN.
• Monitors vital signs, takes blood glucose measurements, and records intake and output.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming and eating.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes in conditions to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Prioritizes unit workload in coordination with the RN/manager.
