Job summary

Precision Rehabilitation & Orthopedic Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to greet patients, verify insurance, collect copays, and schedule initial evaluations and follow-ups. You will support front office operations, manage medical forms, and maintain accurate records in the EHR system.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of Medical Receptionist experience, strong organization, multitasking, and customer service skills, with a collaborative, compassionate approach in a

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist or in similar healthcare role.
• Basic computer skills in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance and direction as needed.
• Check in patients for appointments, verify insurance coverage and collect copayments as needed.
• Schedule follow-up appointments for patients.
• Distribute and collect medical forms, ensure completion and accuracy.
• Document changes in medical records and explain cancellations when needed.
• Answer and transfer incoming calls, provide information to callers.
• Update referring clinics and Workers' Compensation carriers with progress reports.
• Manage prescription log in Dashboard and maintain patient records securely.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; perform other duties as assigned.
