Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent training.
• CNA or CMA certification required; nursing students may be exempt under certain conditions.
• Basic Life Support from an AHA-approved program is required.
• SAMA certification within 90 days of hire.
• EKG and/or Phlebotomy competency validation required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and staff nurses to meet patient needs.
• Adhere to patient safety measures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Demonstrate basic patient care skills, medical terminology, communication, and computer use.
