Harris Health System, Inc. seeks a Patient Care Assistant I (PCA I) to support patient care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse in clinic and inpatient units.

The PCA I collaborates with charge nurses and staff to ensure patient needs are met and maintains competency in basic patient care tasks, medical terminology, communication, and computer use. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, certification as a CNA or CMA, plus BLS, with SAMA, EKG, or phlebotomy

Formación

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent training.
• Certified Nurse Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant; nursing students exempt if applicable.
• BLS from an AHA-approved program.
• Other unit/service/clinic certificates as required.

Responsabilidades

• Support patient care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Perform basic patient care activities and use medical terminology, communication, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and reliability in clinical settings.
