Job summary

North Shore Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a patient care assistant under the supervision of a registered nurse to join a multidisciplinary team focused on safe, compassionate care. You will assist with clinical duties, document patient information, and help maintain a clean, stocked environment.

The role supports RNs and physicians, performs vital signs and basic procedures, and communicates effectively with the care team to promote quality outcomes. Onsite position with standard hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare experience 1-2 years required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• LNA license preferred in NH.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care duties and document vitals and treatments as assigned.
• Assist with ambulation, bathing, feeding, and basic exams.
• Stock rooms, prepare equipment, and report malfunctions.
• Document patient information and communicate with nursing staff.
• Receive and direct medical staff, patients, and visitors.
