Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative for patient registration in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will collect information accurately, answer questions, and ease patient anxiety while coordinating with clinicians. Training provided, and vaccination, background checks, and drug tests are required.

Shifts are Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. On-site work with multiple software systems and phones. No prior healthcare experience is necessary to start and grow in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• No healthcare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Utilization of technology to support patient registration.
• Routes written communications as appropriate.
• Communicates with others in person, by telephone, and/or email utilizing various communication technologies.
• Will receive patients and visitors and handle general inquiries.
• Determines work priorities on assigned shifts.
• Assist with supporting associates on new procedures and duties to be performed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Patient Access Manager or Team Lead as needed.
