Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years in healthcare or medical office.
• Strong data entry and computer skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact; welcome, register, and support patients.
• Manage provider schedules and coordinate appointments.
• Verify and update patient demographics, insurance, and eligibility.
• Collect co-pays and fees per policy.
• Coordinate interpreter services, transportation, and visit supports.
• Answer and triage incoming calls professionally.
• Address patient concerns and escalation issues.
• Maintain accurate medical records and protect confidentiality.
• Support clinic operations, including supplies and cross-site assistance.
