Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6–12 months of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or scheduling.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.
• Strong verbal and listening skills with empathy.
• Familiarity with EHR and practice management systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for patients, providers, and partners via calls.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments per protocols.
• Verify demographics, insurance, and eligibility; update EHR.
• Inform patients about services, locations, hours, and requirements.
• Triage urgent calls and route to nursing staff or providers.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and document interactions thoroughly.
• Assist patients with access barriers using interpreter services when needed.
• Meet call quality, handling time, scheduling accuracy, and patient satisfaction goals.
