Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support objective patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans across all ages under supervision. You will document care, administer modalities, and maintain accurate records in line with Mercy standards.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited OTA program credential, current or eligible COTA licensure, and BLS certification. Prior experience welcome, with a focus on compassionate, team-based care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Current license for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with initial assessment under supervision and according to department policies.
• Document patient care including progress notes and ongoing need for treatment.
• Administer modalities, exercise regimes, or treatment procedures per department policies.
• Maintain progress notes and department records; support education within the department.
• Demonstrate knowledge of needs across neonatal to geriatric age groups.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor.
