Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• One year of healthcare experience required; scheduling preferred.
• Insurance verification and prior authorization experience preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication, empathy and PC skills required.

• Coordinate scheduling of surgical procedures with physicians’ offices.
• Prioritize procedures to optimize patient flow and OR utilization.
• Document scheduling information accurately and monitor the schedule.
• Obtain precertification/authorization numbers and enter them.
