Job summary

Avamere Rehabilitation of Eugene is seeking a Nursing Assistant-Unlicensed to provide routine daily nursing care under licensed supervision. The role supports residents through various daily tasks, activities, and care plans for up to 120 days after graduation from the Nursing Assistant program.

Shifts include Days, Evenings and NOC, with PRN openings across all shifts. Avamere offers a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative, supportive work environment in Eugene, Oregon.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a Nursing Assistant Program in the state where the position is located.
• Active CPR/BLS certification must be maintained during employment.
• Demonstrates passion for caregiving and enhancing residents’ quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily needs and activities.
• Refer changes in resident condition to the nurse supervisor.
• Ensure rooms are ready and residents feel comfortable and safe.
• Maintain warmth, patience, and a cheerful environment.
• Support residents with transportation to appointments and activities.
• Communicate resident information to nursing staff and administrator.
