Job summary

Avamere Riverpark of Eugene is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for an evening full-time position at the Avamere Riverpark of Eugene facility in Eugene, Oregon. The CNA will provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents in accordance with each resident’s assessment and care plan.

You must hold a valid CNA license in Oregon, maintain CPR/BLS during employment, and demonstrate a passion for compassionate caregiving.

Qualifications

Have a 10th grade education or above.
Be a licensed certified nursing assistant in this state.
Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment.
Have a passion for caregiving and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities

Check each resident routinely to ensure personal care needs are met in accordance with their wishes.
Review resident care plans daily to determine if changes in daily care routines are needed.
Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in the resident’s condition so updates can be added to the care plan.
Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activities and transport to appointments.
Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm environment.
Ensure resident rooms are ready for receiving and help residents feel comfortable.
Assist with facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
Communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and administrator.
