Job summary

Virtua Health in Voorhees, NJ is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician to assist with activities of daily living under RN/LPN supervision. Responsibilities include vital signs, basic patient care, and support for the care team in a on-site setting.

The role emphasizes strong communication, adherence to safety protocols, and participation in patient satisfaction initiatives. Phlebotomy/EKG duties may be included where certified, with competitive hourly compensation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Perform vital signs, and assist with phlebotomy and EKGs if certified; document appropriately.
• Maintain isolation precautions and safe patient practices; reinforce education to patient/family.
• Communicate status changes to RN/LPN and participate in quality initiatives.
• Assist in orientation of new hires and support care team as needed.
