Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician Apprentice in New Jersey to support acute care teams and assist with patient comfort, vital signs, and basic care tasks. The program offers hands-on training and a pathway to a full MHT/PCT role upon successful completion.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, and may have completed a PCT, CNA, MA or EMT program, or be pursuing related studies. Phlebotomy/EKG experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Completion of one of the following: PCT/CNA/MA/EMT program, or HMH PCT Apprenticeship, or pursuing Associate's/Bachelor's in social work, psychology, nursing or related field.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, strong accountability, teamwork, and dedication to ongoing education.

Education
