Job summary

Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta is seeking a Mental Health Technician to join the nursing team and support therapeutic care for adolescents and adults. You will participate in treatment planning, assist in admissions, orient new patients, plan group sessions, and maintain essential documentation as part of a patient-centered program at UHS.

• 21+ years old and education in a human-service field.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within first week.
• Experience with children/adolescents with emotional disturbance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in treatment planning.
• Assist in the admission process.
• Orient new patients to the unit and program.
• Plan and prepare for group therapy sessions.
• Maintain patient, program, department and related documentation.
